Declaration of Intent to be a candidate for the Starbase Board of Directors
The Starbase is the 501c3 organization that puts on Starbase Indy. Board members are required to be a member of the corporation, and to have provided significant service to the convention in the year of their election. Board members serve three-year terms. There must be at least one year between the end of a person's Board term and their running again for the Board.
Candidates for the Board must be ratified by the current Board of Directors. An informational session will be held during the convention to allow candidates for the Board to advocate for their candidacy. Elections will be held at the Board of Directors meeting during the 2019 Starbase Indy convention. All members of the convention present at the meeting will be allowed to vote for two candidates.
