Cosplay Contest Form
Pre-registered contestants will be notified of their scheduled pre-judging time no later than 11:59PM Thursday, November 22, 2018. Please provide a valid email address for us to send this to you. Phone number will only be used to send you information regarding the times of your scheduled pre-judge. If you miss your scheduled time, you can come during the walk-in time frame: 3:30PM-4:00PM. If you do not make the pre-judge at all, you are not eligible for a craftmanship award. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please reply to the email advising us, and we will make every attempt to reschedule you.
Contestants must be available to line up for a technical rehearsal at 7:30PM at the Main Stage Saturday, November 24, 2018. Those competing for presentation must have their media files ready by 7:30PM to ensure our tech crew understands your cues, and to ensure that the media works with our system. Those who miss the 7:30PM call time may not be allowed to compete.
If a contestant has mobility needs, please let the cosplay department know so that we may accommodate you!
By signing your name (legal, OR preferred name), you agree to all rules and regulations set forth by Starbase Indy cosplay department. Starbase Indy assumes no responsibility for damaged, broken, lost, or stolen costumes. Judging will be done fairly and without bias, and a copy of your judges score sheet will be made available to you Sunday, November 25, 2018. Contestants understand that at any time, should their presentations or cosplay violate any rules, they may be removed from the competition. Signing of your name is completely voluntary, however, if this agreement is not signed, your entry into the Starbase Indy Masquerade contest may not be considered for competition.
Cosplay/Craftsmanship Contestants: Please email reference photos (up to 5) to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not email them, please bring print-outs or digital reference to your pre-judging session.
